In my second to last semester at Cal State Dominguez Hills, I was asked to complete 30 hours of observation at Ramona Elementary School (the school I used to go to). Luckily, I was placed my 1st grade teacher Ms. Napohaku. During my time in her classroom, I was able to develop good connects with the students. Many of them gave me drawings, stickers, bracelets, and flowers. I feel that having this experience has helped me in a way to prepare myself for when it's time to become a teacher and I am grateful to Ms. Napohaku for showing me what it takes to be a teacher.
Here are some pictures from my time doing my observation hours :) I documented my journey on instagram!
For my lesson plan, I decided to do a yoga session with the kids!
